This is what Cue Reporter had to say about the one-man play, "For Generations" which currently touring the country and heading to PE in December - If you're gonna be in PE, you may want to jot that down and make sure you get to see it.
"This performance of incredible energy, depth, honesty and humour isfurther enriched by Kurt Egelhof's engaging and personal delivery. His ventriloquism is extra ordinary. Through several layers of South African history, the needling theme of identity is probed via various male perspectives and the complexity of father / son relationships."
Kurt Egelhof's one-man play, For Generations, marks the performer's return to theatre after a 15-year absence. The autobiographical piece tells the story of the men in Egelhof's lineage and a quest for
personal identity.

Funny man Wayne McKay has quite an impressive resume`. In 2000 Wayne started his career as a member of the Cape Comedy Collective. Since then he has performed at numerous festivals and corporate functions, Jazz Concerts to name but a few. |

Cheap, Chinese imports step aside for some high-quality, bar-raising South African bruin exports...
"Applauz", a local, homegrown troupe of jazz musicians, actors, singers and performers are in China right now, performing at the Jazz Festival in Nanjing. The crew was invited to be one of the opening acts of the festival and they will be performing some Goema tracks as well as some original cabaret music to throngs of Chinese revellers. |
