There is no bigger bitch then daytime TV ... ok... ok I know of one but then that's another story. Many suicides were committed so a soul could find ever-lasting peace from infomercials and soups. Many retired people are looking for a job because thy cant take the morning soups, the same soup that played last night. Not even my granny can watch that shit twice. I'm off work this week and I came to realize why I work, it's to escape daytime TV and since I do not have the luxury of DSTV I'm forced to watch all the repeats.
So when you are in my situation where you can't go nowhere coz of the damn petrol price and your budget do not allow you to go and watch a movie at the local cinema coz you have to make a concise decision ~ do I catch a movie with a large popcorn or do I buy a twenty cigarettes you give in to your addiction...then you know that you are truly fucked and you need to find a new job that pays more or you have to get rich fast.
But then I was thinking maybe the SABC is playing all this shit to force people to start reading that will be a good con, coz a good book never disappointed me or maybe its because no one is paying there licenses and thy do not have the money to give us better shows, who knows
Anyhow work sounds better and better and it will keep me from killing myself or moering the damn idiot box with a knopkierie
