Page 1 of 2 US diva Alicia Keys paid a visit to Wentworth this past weekend, much to the delight of the many screaming fans. The articles below were taken from local papers and the Star. The second pic was forwarded to me by mail and I am not sure who the photographer was. Helping hands for Aids sufferers US singer and songwriter and Keep a Child Alive (KCA) ambassador Alicia Keys (R) is accompanied by Irene Stainbank (L), coordinator of the Wentworth Aids Action Group, during Keys's visit to the Blue Roof building in Wentorth, north of Durban. Keys purchased the property for close to half a million dollars. Plans are under way to build a comprehensive care clinic for people living with HIV-Aids.The Centre will also provide free medical treatment ot children and their families through the support and fundraising from KCA. Keys is on a five day tour of South Africa. |
